Just 4 laps in, we blew a head gasket...

With help from a team running a similar car and a few friends we were able to get back out there 28 hours later. Only 2 of our 4 drivers got a chance to drive, which was quite ****ty, but we were lucky to get back on track at all.

My fastest lap was a 1:32 but that was with the car running in limp mode after we cut off the cats/o2 sensors in order to get the heads off (bolts were completely rusted, then proceeded sheared off)

At least we made the car and driver blog and won the "we got screwed" award..
C&D said the car blew up again but we just needed to top off the cooling system.

Despite tedious wrench work and losing by 499 laps it was still fun and definitely a memorable experience.
