So far split evenly there is around 76 cars per run group. When do they stop taking cars?? 236 ft or 78 yards per car.

The standard is 25 cars per mile and at 3.37 miles the Glen should handle 84.25 cars per run group.
I'm not sure PCA wants that big a race group.

I would guess that it is both but I would say the bigger factor is the economy.

Economy but also, people have adjusted and are finally straightening out their priorities into the right order

Well none of those factors helped the Road Atlanta race this year, which had 1/3 of the WG entrants. I know it rained the last few years, but gimme a break!
Good luck to you all, I wish I had the time to get up there. Obviously don't have my priorities in the right order.
