Default Extreme neg camber -- old 993 GT2 pic

was just surf'n around and came by this pic. Don't think I ever seen (or remember) seeing this much neg camber on 911. That rear must be over 8 degrees (3" tilting in on 18" rim dia is ~9 deg).

Must be look'n to easily jump over curbs and ride on two wheels or trying to get wider track and making tires fit in fenders.

That's wild! He must be a bike guy: as you say, he's obviously more comfortable on two wheels.

Do you know what race series and track that pic is from?

I would assume that the track is very smooth and the race is short. That specific car appears to have very stiff suspension which is fully loaded and also appears to have very limited travel. By just viewing the pic, it appears to have a very low front Momentum Center along with a more normal Center of Gravity, thus promoting the weight transfer (along with a big ARB) to lift the inside tire. And I would assume that the set-up promotes very high tire ware. One of the neat things about racing is that as long as it is faster (and within the rules) then it is a good idea even if it looks wrong. IMHO, only three wheels on the ground and limited wheel travels looks wrong, but wonder if quicker, at least on that track.

Anyway, cool pic, got more?

Not as much camber as it looks like because that is a picture of a picture and it's skewed by the lens and angle

More pictures of that car here

I agree it looks like photo distortion creating that look more than running that much camber.

It's a photo of a photo, in perspective. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_%28visual%29

Still looks like a lot of negative camber, plus the LF is loaded.
