Wind noise in car camera

Try electrical tape, friction tape, even duct tape.
Does the camera allow for an external sound input?
Weirdly, I get the best sound from a $38 HD camera I have attached to my rear license plate, where you think I'd get a lot of noise.

Band aid or vary the layers of paper towel over the mic. It really does work. You may need to experiment a bit. Your basically making a DIY wind screen. The camera was not designed for 70mph plus wind hitting the mic.

It's a gimmicky little Chinese camera that's designed to look like a keychain fob. It's called the 808 #16, and it's the latest in the long line of steadily-improving keychain fob cameras. (I have no idea why someone would want a video camera shaped like a keychain fob.)
Here's a link to a review of the previous iteration, the #11.
It'll give you an idea of the capabilities of the thing. I add a wider-angle lens to my cameras, and use two in the cockpit and one on the rear license plate.

I currently have four. I run a power line to each one (it's a USB cable), and use a big enough chip (32G) that I can pretty much run them all day. I attach them with electrical tape.
Here's a clip with three of them used. I switched to the rear camera's audio for the featured lap -- you can hear the improvement as I cross start/finish. As I mentioned, I got some inexpensive wide angle lenses that I glued in place. There are still a few things to work out (I added a filter to the front one that is making the image blurry on the left side).
There's a cut to a rear-view shot near the end.
If you've got a fast enough connection, it's better in 480p or 720p.

Also forgot to ask how you sync the audio from the rear cam to the front facing view?
BTW, I just LOVE your car (and I know this isn't the first time you've heard that, but thought I'd throw my lust for it into the mix)
