Lawson Aschenbach piloted the Truspeed # 1 Porsche GT3 to first place at St. Petersburg this weekend!
The car wears Formula 43 Renn10 center lock wheels with polished outer rims and black anodized centers.
Way to go Lawson and Truspeed!

Congrats, but didn't they get penalized for passing under yellow (along with 2 or 3 other cars?) and pushed back a few spots or something? Maybe I'm confusing it with some one else...

Awesome Lawson! He started out racing with us in Farnbacher-Loles GT3 cup.
Watching that first race live online reminded me why I don't race on street circuits. The only advantage is you only wear out your engine, trans, and brakes much as only about 5 laps are under green flag.

Yes, in race one he was penalized and set back to 11th position. In race two he had a clean run and came across the line in first place!
"Driving the No. 1 Privacy Star/Entrust Porsche 911 GT3, Aschenbach came back with a vengeance less than 24 hours after SCCA Pro Racing stripped him of a Race 1 victory due to a pass under caution. The 2011 Touring Car and 2006 GT champion started Race 2 at St. Pete from the pole position by virtue of turning the fastest lap in Race 1, and it was clear from the standing start that Aschenbach meant business.
We are extremely pleased with the results of the car on Formula 43 wheels!
