I'd love ot see what various people have come up with for the ideal location for the display unit to sit.
I ordered the suction cup for the windsheild because I felt it would be the easist route for me however as I'm starting to play around with it I'm annoyed by the unit being above dash height and restricting outward visibility some.
I'd like to see what others have come up with for a location and what they feel are the pros and cons of their mount location.
Thanks,
Andy

Not a Porsche, but I've mounted mine front and center on the dash. I think it's nearly ideal.
Pros: Convenient location, does not restrict outward view, still plainly visible, shows up on video. Cons: Not in direct sight so you have to look downward slightly and just past your right hand; shorter drivers should be able to reach buttons when strapped in but I'm not 100% positive...I certain can.
