Default Dodge RAM Bed Cover

I figured the Race/DE crowd has experience in the various bed covers for RAM 1500's. Picking up a new Crew Cab today.

Any suggestions on what works well and is durable?

I would like a cover that I can open up the bed in sections (sectional or roll-up?), requires no drilling to install, takes up the least amount of space when fully open and is not a PITA to open and close.

Thanks,
Tom

I put the so-called BakFlip G2 on my new F-250; I have had a rollup before (I liked it; easy to get out of the way), a tri-fold (worked great until I needed the full bed space, when I then had to remove it - not hard but you have to put it somewhere), and now the BakFlip. So far, I prefer the BakFlip, as I can fold it right up against the rear window (not ideal, but...) when I need the full bed. The truck lives outdoors and I wanted a cover that was stronger than the fabric types.
Some people like the roll-ups, but I was worried about the mechanism over the years and rolling it up when covered with snow and ice. You wouldn't have that concern as often in NJ, but I am in Maine a lot.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I also noticed that you can get a tool box that works with the BakFlip.

Shoot Jay Gratton a message. He had a rollup one that was really nice. I don't know what brand it was.

I have one of these that I took off of my F250 before trading it in. It was on my Chevy 2500 before that. I like the sturdiness of it. You can easily stack tires and heavier things on it without a problem.

I dont know where youre located but Im selling the one I have if you're interested. I'd like to get $275 for it.

I got the box as well; not real sure why, as it is way forward (duh) and I can only get at it if I completely open the cover, so it's not real handy. I liked the idea of a dry off-the-bed storage compartment, though.
You can get them cheaper via Amazon than you can from the factory.
Next, you'll want the lights to install in the bed; it's awfully dark in there at night: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/11...-of-truck.html
Sorry for the Ford reference!

I have the undercover cover on my 2500. It's ABS plastic and you can literally stand on it. It has two locks and works very well. No drilling needed.
