I run them on my car, but unfortunately I have outdated street tires on them 225/45/16. In Pole positions thats a tight fit with a slightly rolled fender. I have no idea what tires Im going to use to replace these.

Over the years we have seen many cars running this wheel. The offset is on the extreme low end of what can fit. Generally we like to see closer to et30 on an 8.0 wheel up front.
225/50 works, but you need to get some negative camber in there. Clearance is generally tighter on right front than left front. Just how the cars were built...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Thanks. Car's an e stock racer so I have plenty of camber. But it sounds like more trouble for very little if any gain with 225 tyres. I have plenty of 7s, and just picked up 2 more 9s. I've run the 8s with 245 rains on the back but don't need them for that now. Might just sell the 8s

Never an easy answer!! I guess I'll have my 2nd set of 225 hohos mounted and give them a try in 2 weeks at Summit Point. I think I have some 7mm or 8mm spacers in the shop. If not I'll see what I can come up with.
Thanks for the info!

I've run 8x16's on a G (now D) stock PCA 911SC and on a '73 911 but found that if the car was as low as needed, stock Fuchs rubbed. The 944 offset 8's are a bit better but to get the car "down in the dirt" where it really should be, you need custom offset 8's. Jongbloed has a special offset they offer. Ask for the "Bob Johnson/Johnson Autosport" offset, if you call and order from them.
