3 run groups, 5 sessions, each session is 30 MINUTES long, that is 2 ½ hours of track time!!! Price includes lunch (BBQ ribs or chicken, which is pretty darn good), OTR hat or T-Shirt.
No affiliation, just a great time to have some fun during the weekday.

I assume you've run with these guys?
I'm leery of a track day group (by definition, NOT racing) calling itself "open track racing". seems like an invitation for bad things to happen.

Have been going for about 2 years.
Have not seen or heard of any accidents occuring since I have been going. The advance and intermediate groups have almost the same people running every time.
The beginners mostly come to experience what is like to drive on a track. Only a handful come back to try to move up to a higher run group when their driving skills improve. Like most DEs that I have attended.

I used to be their Chief Driving Instructor. They have a remarkably good safety history -- mostly because they don't send out groups that are too large. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere and they don't put up with hot-heads.
