I wonder if one of the Advan 280/650 18 rear cup car tires can be stuffed on a 10" rim? Has anyone done that?
They're intended for 11s and they don't specify an allowable range.

Well, my understanding is that the 280/650 is not a rear GT3 Cup tire. It is a front RSR tire that can be run on the rear (although Yokohama advises against it in high-load situations such as banked tracks).
The standard Cup rear is a 280/680 and it works fine on a 10" wheel. We have been running the Yokohama 280/680-18 A005 on the 10" Fikse wheel for about 8 months without issue.
I am not sure if the shorter sidewall on the 650 would cause issue on a 10" wheel.

280/650 work great on 10", thats what most BMW guys do. But as stated, this is NOT intended for a Porsche rear tire. You need a 660-680 (depending on the manufacturer). The 650 will not take the load well, especially on banked type turns - so be careful.
but in terms of 280/650 Yok on 10", not a problem at all.
