Default Adjustable brake PV

I am installing an adjustable PV in my car to fine tune the rear brake bias.

Of the two options, 7 click bar type or the infinitely adjustable **** type, which would you recommend, both fall directly into the range (pressure and knee) that I need and each has its own advantage.

The bar type offers absolute repeatability whereas the **** offers much more precise adjustment. Each click of the bar alters the knee by 10 bar (14.x psi) and I wonder if this is too great of an adjustment.

Who can offer advice?

*** type. Or, if you want real adjustability, go for dual masters.

Might want to check that. 1.0 bar equals atmospheric pressure (14.5 psi).

That's not too much. If the master(s) aren't the right size (to accommodate a caliper and/or piston size change), might not be enough. A must on any modified car.

Yep, 14.xx. STP is 14.5xx at 32*F.

So yer saying that the 10bar adj on the lever type is not too much (although the factory PVs for these cars vary by 5 bar). I do like the easy click repeatability of the lever type, but wonder if the adjustment is not too coarse - for a finely sensitive driver like me, of course...

I like the lever type as well. I make tweeks for certain corners. 2 in one corner and 0 in the others.

A PV and a dual MC perform different functions.

Looks like a plumbers nightmare! <grin>

Glad you have the blue lines from the reservoir, it could be a real mess if they leaked.

He needs a dual master setup with a balance bar in it!

Matt, the pedal set shown is a double-master set and does have a balance bar on it. The clutch master is closest to the accelerator pedal.

You could even add a bias adjust cable on the end of the threaded treadle and run it to the left under the dead pedal.

Interesting pedal ratios, for sure! Certainly effective and an efficient use of space.
