Sutil going gangsta up in someones grill at da club...
Confirmed: Hamilton to give evidence in Sutil trial
20 January 2012
It has been confirmed that Lewis Hamilton will share evidence at the upcoming trial of Adrian Sutil. The German will be heard by a court following an incident after last year’s Chinese Grand Prix, when he was supposedly involved in an alternation with Eric Lux.
On the 30 and 31 January, Sutil will stand trial in Munich District Court on a charge of aggravated assault. While in a Shanghai nightclub on 17 April 2011, he allegedly stabbed Lux (a Luxembourgian entrepreneur and founding partner of Genii Capital, co-owner of the Lotus Renault GP Formula 1 team) in the neck with a broken glass.
While Lux received 24 stitches and is sure that the incident was deliberate, Sutil has stated that he meant to throw only a drink and not its glass. As Hamilton - a close friend of Sutil - was present in the club at the time of the occurrence, the McLaren driver has been asked to share his side of the story.

Verstappen to be released from jail on Friday
19 January 2012
Former F1 driver Jos Verstappen will be released from jail on Friday. The Dutchman has been imprisoned since 4 January on the grounds of manslaughter, having allegedly driven a car into his ex girlfriend. However, it has now been decided that too little evidence has been found in order to hold the the 39-year-old for longer.
On Thursday, a court in Roermond came to the conclusion that, following a forensic examination, there is not enough proof to suggest that the suspect can be responsible for aggravated assault and manslaughter. Verstappen’s lawyers then asked for their client to be released, with that appeal being granted by the court.
The case remains open and Verstappen is also accused in a previous case for assault. He has made no further comment.
