haven't been here is a long while. Hi G!

Mike and Tim: They finished 2nd in class and 13th overall in the 6 hour enduro, after losing 4th gear in the 1st half of the race.

Another great time with the Harry Dog guys. Mike and I fought the good fight. We, again, agreed not to use 2nd gear so in essence we did most of the race using 3rd and 5th. It dropped our lap times from the 2:36s to the 2:39s but the car kept on gettin it!!! I love this event. Its a great mix of cars and drivers and very well run. Last year there were no full course yellows in the entire 6 hours and this year there was one due to a car stuck in the sand. He actually got out before the hook even got to him so the flag wasnt really needed.
Thanks again to Mike, Dan, Jerry and Jason.

Thanks Dave, nice meeting you as well. Looks like Dave did an awsome job of recovering from that mess.

Yup! That's what a good driver, a good mechanic, and a good coach can do as a team when the merde hits the ventilateur!

Didn't get to meet as many RL's as I should have but it was a busy weekend. Spent Thursday learning the track as this was my virgin trip to Sebring. Started the enduro on Friday in learning mode but after 15 minutes or so got up to speed and had a good race. If you look on the mylaps lap sheet you will see that I finished 15 overall, but due to a miscue with my timer, I left the pits early and was penalized 2 minutes On Saturday I qualified P5 overall in race group 2 after taking more than 2.5 seconds off my best time from Friday. I was surrounded by C-Mod BMW's sporting slicks and there I was with my leftover Hankooks from the day before. I had a fun race for 2 laps and then P1-4 pulled away from me and I was left in no mans land for the rest of the race, finishing where I started in P5.

That was the last of my track time, as I broke my transmission mount on Saturday morning. We tied it down as well as possible for the sprint race, but it was moving around quite a bit and I decided that it was not worth tearing up the car to run Sunday. Overall an excellent weekend and I will make sure Winterfest 2013 is on my schedule.
