Default Technical Question for BMW racers

I bought a Ferrari 355 Challenge car to race this year and want to hook up the factory fuel sender to my AIM MXL dash. BimmerWorld sells an adaptor to do this, converting the factory Ohm reading into a 0-5 volt signal:

Question is, what is the operating range for factory fuel senders in BMWs, measured in Ohms? If it matches the Ferrari, I can use this adaptor. If it does not, I need to come up with a custom piece.

FYI, the Ferrari range is 0-308 ohm.

<grabs a multimeter>

13 to 270 ohms on my spare e36 pump. However the e36 has two senders, one in each saddle of the tank and they are wired in series. So that gadget is probably expecting 26 to 540 ohms.

Pretty sure that will work, just calibrate in race studio and send to the MXL.

Excellent. A wider ohm range should not be a problem. Thanks!

What Peter said. You can calibrate the sensor range in Race Studio quite easily.
