Sebring
Watkins
VIR
Summit
if im lucky and win the lottery ill probably add Mid Ohio or NJMP

Also going with intersport to sebring, we are taking one of the space for a car (9 car slots and only using 8) with the last one for equpment, wheels, etc...also have a couple who are towing down to throw things in their trailer.....really hard to pass up (less your taking two cars and have a 2 car trailer)

VIR was a great race last year and really was not too hot, that track is a ton of fun though the new FIA curbing should be fun....also got my first win there in the enduro.

Summit is a must, hopefully the weather is better this year so the yanks can be out there, i had a ton of fun in the rain mainly cause i was fast haha but also had a great time racing with Dwyane when it dried up and he was out there.

Don,
sorry to be so late on the reply, been dealing with some family issues and traveling from the NE the past day or so...

CMP will most likely be on the schedule. Heck, 2011 race feels like it just occured!! The Carolinas board hasn't had a planning meeting yet to set the 2012 schedule and get everything down in writing, but it will again most likely be the last weekend of October.

Not that I run D or E, but I hope to see some of you at Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, VIR and maybe Mid Ohio if I can swing that one. Plus, CMP of course...

2011 race weekend was very nice so the forecast for 2012 is the same. Too Hot?

Here's the scedule with everyone's plans so far. I added the names that I know. If you want to remain anonymous, let me know and I'll fix it with your Rennlist name. Track Ratt and Der ABT, I'll correct your names if you like. Sorry I don't know them. Same with you, Paolo.

Even though VIR wasn't too hot in '11 and is a longer track than Summit I'd like to see the SPR sprint race schedule of 3 x 30 mins (or 35?) vs. 2 x 45 mins w/ the heat. Just IMO...... more races and slightly shorter.

Adding Lime Rock to my schedule. It's been on my bucket list for years and neither of us are getting any younger! Course my car still isn't back together after breaking a rocker at the Turkey Bowl last November...

Dave - Will you run in D or E (can't quite make out from the avatar), either way come say hello! Limerock is an easy to learn track, but not so easy to go fast on at first. Look forward to new people coming up this year!

E Stock '84 Carrera. I bought the car from Carrera51 last summer. Put the engine from my old '84 Targa in it as his had some bent valves. My first time out in the car was the Potomac CR. I chased an oil leak all weekend and didn’t bring any rains. Both were my fault as I installed the engine myself and didn’t follow the weather forecast. Leak wasn’t bad enough to endanger anyone but the engine had to be rinsed off after every run as a precaution. I did manage to finish the only dry sprint.

Then the second day of the Turkey Bowl I broke a rocker during the enduro. Prolly should have just fixed the motor. But I wanted to upgrade the cooler, replace the oil lines and some other things so I ended up striping the chassis. Still have a lot to do but am really looking forward to Sebring (also on my bucket list)!

Jim, I like your suggestion. We did 3-30 min sprints at Roebling in December.

Dave, Thanks for the name and added plans. Schedule attached again for everyone. Still need a name for Der ABT and Paulo's last name. I'm thinking lots of syllables and ending in a vowel. I feel your pain on the engine. Replaced a P&C for the Roebling race. Struggled with a fuel leak - fixed with zip-ties and vise-grips to finish the weekend. Hoping to check leak-down tonight or tomorrow night. Results will dictate my future.

Brent, still have the old one zip-tied. I can race that way if I have to, but I don't think she'll pass tech. Still can't find the GoPro remote switch.

Der ABT is Evan Close.
Unless he doesn't want you to know that. Then I don't know what his name is.

I'll send you the email for the gopro switch order two!
