Aux diesel fuel tank question

Pretty expensive, but I've done two trips to Sebring from Denver in trucks equipped with one of these. Last trip was with 2011 Chevy 3500 Dually, 2 car trailer, 75 gallon auxillary tank. Made it from Denver to Sebring stopping for fuel just twice and still had probably 40 gallons left! I found the digital guage (which shows fuel in main and auxillary tank) to be accurate within a gallon on each fill.

OK horse has been beaten to death. it seems that my 08 Ford F350 computer does not have the capability to have its fuel tank recalibrated. Everyone I speak with (Titan, Ford Commercial, Ford Retail ) concur on this and my local shop had no luck with the ford IDS (??) tool to recalibrate. The 2011 model apparantly can do the re-cal but older ones not.
As supreme dumb luck would have it I have a BANKS tuner and they just released a software update that handles the fuel side and then some. No cost just a download which can then be configured to user preference. Still playing with it but it should work fine (no affiliation with BANKS). http://www.bankspower.com/iqmodes
