Default Aiptek question- memory full?

Why does my Aiptek camcorder tell me that MEMORY is FULL when I have a 16GB card in there with nothing on it now ( it had a bunch of stuff but I bumped it to my Mac then erased everything).

There are no files showing in My Works either.

In had a 4hr Enduro that I couldn't record today but have races Sat and Sun I'd really like to get.

TIA

I would suggest formatting the memory in the camera. Use the MODE key to get to SETTINGS, then scroll until you get to the FORMAT selection. When you format it in the camera, the camera makes sure that it can talk to the memory.

Also, look at the screen - if it has a pictogram of a SD card, it knows the SD card is there. If the pictogram is a box with label INT, it is using the (tiny) internal memory, and does not recognise the SD card.

My Aiptek has a built in memory of something like a Gig, and then the external card. I had to tell it to record to the internal card when setting it up. Don't have the manual handy, so sorry I can't be more help.

Good and bad news. I have the videos but can't get them to upload to Vimeo.
They were shot in MP4 1080 but at 60 fps- is there a way to convert or downrez to 30 fps assuming this is the issue?

Mpeg StreamClip and FFMpeg are both applications. FFMPeg is a little more technical to use. You can transcode media across formats and adjust frame rates.. Just change the frame rate to make slow motion and "conform" the rate to maintain the same speed (Conforming drops the extra frames to maintain time sync)

I had vimeo pro for a while and was able to upload hd high frame rate without delay.
This one ended up not full 100 HD as there was a kink in the codec on my end when I uploaded but should be a bit better than U tube. Sorry for the boring DE based content.
