Okay BMW guys... I, too, am looking for a dedicated TT/Race car... what do you think of this one?

At first I saw your pictures and thought it was the same car!

TIA

The car you are looking at has a supercharger, double adjustable remote reservoir shocks which are the biggest differences. The price is also 10k north of our purchase price. If this is an east coast car, consider a PPI at Turner, call Marco. The front splitter appears to be a BMW motorsport part which is very robust. The cage looks a little funky where it joins the rear towers, get a considered opinion on the car by someone like Turner who can supply a survey that includes safety, wear rates, equipment assessment as well as the usual leak down.

I would definitely pass. Supercharged race cars are asking for trouble, especially on an inline 6 motor. You have to swap more out on that car to make it decent. Cage is also iffy.

There are much nicer cars to be had around that price range. Let me know if you are serous, I can put you in touch with some people selling.

disasterman, ditch that wing asap, it's nothing but a parachute.

No problem, feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions. My buddy and I have built and consulted on a few cars now. E36 and E46 BMW's.
