Sounds right, and looks right. I like it!

Now give us a Cayman R Daytona Prototype, and a BMW somethingorother Daytona Prototype and we'll be good.

I suspect we're also looking at the next Vette's headlights, hood, side vents, and tail lights.

In profile it looks really good.

Straight on it's awkward.

From the side it very much looks like a Saleen S7 ... I'm loving it, can't wait to see it in person!

I think it looks like crap. Prototype cars need to be desing by the wind tunnel. They need to have minimum restructions on production body style. After all they are not production cars. They are not sillouette racers that need to conform to a look.

I know DP has rules covering this, but it is realy awkard car. Look half like a Corvette and half like a protoype. So which is it? Corvette or prototype?

It seems unresolved from a styling perspective and very compromise from an Aero racing perspective. Hmm we want to look like a corvette, but we can't cause it will suck aero wise. So we half *** it make part of look like vette and part not.

BTW... the corvette is a street car or production bodied race car. It is not a prototype unless you can go and say "this is the prototype for the C7 Vette". Which I know this not.

In the end what really matter is how it performs on track.

You are right, but why are the fields in ALMS getting smaller every year. Those cars are just to expensive right now.

Grand-AM has some of the best racing in America with much larger fields.

Plus, as I said before the Corvette looks great!!
