Default Anyone Tried RaceChrono (GPS Data System)

I'm talking about the whole unit, not the data overlay.

I'm itching for a bigger display than the traqmate complete but think the traqmate touchscreen is gimmick and well overpriced for what it offers.

The RaceChrono looks pretty good. If the onscreen viewing software is user friendly like traqmate, I may jump ship. Anyone tried or currently using this unit?

Marty Howard is a great guy and will steer you straight.

I can assure you that if you look at the features, operation, build quality and performance, the TraqDash is a deal and a huge upgrade. YMMV.

I just dont see it in the traqmate, I've done the demo and it doesn't seem to offer much to me, whereas the racechrono has the review software right there on the display with Bluetooth connectivity. Makes it really hard to justify the traqmate display unit costing as much as a whole racechrono system with Bluetooth rpm inputs and an external blutooth gps receiver.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the pc software capabilities of the racechrono and no accelerometer. The software for the pc seems kinda lame compared to traqmate.

If there is something I'm missing I would be glad to know it.

Thanks to the Axis of oversteer website that has far more screenshots than anything else I was able to find on youtube, the downloadable demo or anywhere else, I retract my statement. I think the Traqdash does offer a lot and is accurately priced. Going to order me one.

Call me for a modest RL discount, if you wish.
