After last weekend's DE at TWS, my left front tire has some battle scars. Tire chunking isn't normally alarming to me, but this strip on the outside caught my eye. The cracks don't go past the tread block. The photo is ugly because of some ham-fisted doctoring I did to emphasize the tread.
As far as tread depth, there is plenty left.
Keep running them or retire them?

I'd keep running them, perhaps move them to the back. You may notice some noise or vibration, because the chunking is not symmetric. I did the same with a set years ago playing on a skid pad at Tire Rack, and was annoyed by the vibration, and eventually replaced them.
