I take back all the nice things I said about Jeff's car...it's a P.O.S.
Just wanted to say THANKS to all who contributed to this thread, even silly comments like the one above seemed to have helped me sell the car as it relayed what could be perceived as a mutual respect for each others "track toys" and the car's soon to be NEW owner was definitely entertained by reading such posts.

SO, make no mistake, witty banter and such definitely doesn't hurt in advertising.

I appreciate everything people had to say about the car, positive, questionable or ridiculous. The car is going to a good home up North, will stay on the East Coast and it's likely I'll see it at some events...this gives me great joy indeed.

Thanks again everyone...I'll let the new owner introduce himself as such when he's ready.

Hopefully the new owner will join Rennlist. Whoever it is, they got a great car with a nice history in PCA and NASA.

Front cover lower lip combo I ran for a while, dive planes never gave me any feedback, but were good conversation in the paddock.

It is just about finished, it is back to all black with the stock front cover, the two-tone just didn't attract any takers, the wacky stuff we (I) do when goofy about a car currently being raced is what drove me to the two-tone madness in the first place. Car looks great all black again, I will have posted soon, I still want to sell/trade.

Steve W., FWIW, I think your car looked AWESOME in two-tone, very cool indeed...and with the "funky" nose, even better. Have NO idea why anyone would be turned off by it, race cars are supposed to be "crazy" looking!

Thanks Jeff, I agree with you that race cars need graphic attitude.

Jeff, if the new owner wants some video of the car, I've got some good HD footage from VIR back in 2008. Of course its me in the 964 cup lapping you, but hey, its still footage .

Hmmmm, now THIS I gotta see - POST UP!

Was it at a NASA event? ...i would've been in GTS2 trim in 2008, plus the sun was in my eyes, I was on 27 heat cycled Hoosiers, wait...my shock settings were all wrong...no, I was fearing that you'd burst into flames and wreck us all, yeah...that's it.

Was it a race, or what?

Definitely, post it up, would love to see it.
