Default Nt01 sizes

This ? Is about track wheels so I thought I'amass her I am seeking knowledge that i have not found a specific answer to and hoping someone either know or can point me in a direction of finding out what tire sizes would be best on a wb 964 with nb suspension. i just bought a set of fikse 17s 9f/12r and am planning on nt01's just wondering how much tire is to much? the car is lowered on bilstien coils and will be able to run -2+ camber and will be corner balanced/aligned after i install the new wheel/tire setup. Thank you for your time and any help

I think you have too much wheel width back and front for a heavy car with middling horsepower and torque.

Too much unsprung weight in oversized rims and extra wide tires as well. A huge energy consumer. Hell on braking and acceleration. Suspension will suffer too.

On the other hand, I don't know what you are trying to accomplish...may have something to do with a certain look you are going for.

The offsets are et43 on the front and et 44 on the rear. And as far as to much wheel this was a move to eliminate unsrung weight from what is currently on there. The car is a franken car from previous owners it has 9"front flares and 11" rear flares. I currently have 993 twist (non hollow) front is an 18x8 et52 with a 25.4mm spacer and the rear is a 18x10et40 with a 30mm spacer. my current rear wheel+spacer weighs roughly 40lbs the new Fikse wheel no spacer will be sub 20lbs? and I went down in rim diameter all in hopes to loose the weight?? Thanks again for any help??

Disregarding all the other aspects of your fitment (offsets, camber, clearance, etc.) a NT01 255/40/17 (24.9" diameter) would fit your 17X9" rim, and a 315/35/17 (25.4" diameter) would fit your 17X12" rim. The 315 is molded for a 11" rim, so a 335/35/17 (25.6" diameter) would probably fit the 12" rim better. NT01s don't come in that size, but Hoosier A6s do.

My first reaction was similar to sig_a's above; that's a lot of wheel and tire weight for a 964, even if you're ditching the spacers and there are no clearance problems. Maybe not, if the franken 964 has also has a monster engine.
