No, it wasn't me who made that, I wish had that kind of talent! From the person who came up with it:
This is just a rough sketch made over few hours to check how the 2013 Grand Prix of America would look like. I used Tilke's blueprints to position track and barriers

So...
I drove the "track" today in my station wagon on my way back from Trader Joe's. I liked it. It is pretty wide for the most part. Hard to tell about the overtake zones to be honest, but there is a lot of room for that on about 90% of the course. One small problem - there are 3 speed bumps on the uphill from Port Imperial Blvd to JFK Blvd. I can see those being a bit of a nuisance to the drivers...
From a spectator point of view there are several very good areas and I'm still working on a grand plan of befriending some of the residents of the local high rises.

I drove the circuit the other day and took these shots of what will be the Pit/Paddock complex, well underway. More importantly, the course seems fantastic; 3 or 4 or more lanes wide everywhere, more than I thought, huge elevation, really steep going up, and scary fast back down. The low road is fast and wide, there are camber changes everywhere and it seems really interesting. I really got a thrill out of being on the proposed course.

I concur. Great course with awesome elevation!
Wow, I don't think the pit building was even off the ground when I was there 6 weeks ago. Nice! They may have to do something about the curbs though

Mikey D went faster than that in his IROC-Z going down to the shore to pick up some hotties.
Maybe the noise from the F1 cars will cause an activation of the fault line that runs along the east cost and NJ will just fall off silently. The resultant Olive Oil slick can be soaked up by all of the French Bread floating around, thusly preventing an environmental catastrophe.
(P.S. exit 156)
