So Fla Drivers: Xtreem Karting anyone?
Hey South Florida Drovers...
I'm looking for more folks to come race with me and some other guys (and girls)...
if you live in Broward, Palm Beach or Dade, I want to invite you to Tuesday night indoor kart racing. at Xtreem indoor karting. (I95 and commercial blvd)
I've been running with some guys in the Ferrari club (yeah I know), and its been a blast and learning experience.
prior to this my last race was in 2000, and only DE's since... I've been bored with DE's the last few years, and this has rekindled my interest in driving again.
every other Tuesday night at 7pm... (next run is 10/17/11).
pm me for more details.
& compared to track days, its cheap!
we are also trying to form a league too....

Surprised you're not doing any outdoor karting.
We had a blast one night at the outdoor track at Moroso (after the kids were done, the Dads and mechanics went out on track for an hour or so).
There is also the facility in Orlando which isn't too bad, they've hosted some events.

I may...
but I'm still 2 seconds off the pace at the indoor track.... and I'm usually doing other things on weekends. (so I'm looking for guys to run with at the back! LOL!!!)
but I'm dropping a second a night...
- PBIR (was moroso) is an hour drive each way... too. (70miles one way).
but I can squeeze in a few hours on Tuesday nights...
any takers?

I haven't been to K1, but like the indoor idea (A/C ?). especially in the summer.
The guys I talked to after the race had been to K1 but weren't impressed... -FWIW...
I'm sure PBIR is better, but I ran at 7pm and was out by 8:30. so it fits into my schedule.
we just need some more P-car drover to beat up on those F-car guys!

heads up! This week only, karting on Wednesday 7pm.
rest of year is on tuesdays, every other week. (not sure I can make this wed)
