That way the rooks get screwed a little bit on having to hustle but the rest of us who wouldn't do fun race anyways get 3 practices then enduro. If you dont like the enduro then do fun race.... Sunday I'd do warmup, qualifying, 2 sprints, and home for dinner. If I had my own club race that's how I'd do it :-)
I like that schedule. I would race in your club.

I am with Coco on combining the Fun starts into one group. That make a lot of sense knowing only 40% or less will suit up and go out there.
My vote is put a race (sprint or enduro) on Saturday. Give all something to talk about on Sat. night.
What is the rookie count for ECR anyway?

So far total count is 14 and it doesn't look like any rookies. At this rate it will just be one run group anyways! I shouldn't talk, I haven't signed up yet but I do think it's funny that some play games with when they sign up. I'm maybe a bit superstitious about registering before another race weekend(Hallett)....

We need MORE CARS! Last I checked a few days ago and we only had 36 or so cars registered. C'mon folks...... It's not THAT LATE in the year.

The schedule looks great, unfortunately I won't have a car for ECR now. Anyone have an extra race car available?

I know a guy with a couple of 996 Cups for sale. Buy one to race while yours is being repaired.

Turns out I am missing the race as well. I am headed to VIR instead to see my new toy for the first time. (pic attached)

Seeing that I need to fund the new purchase, either my 996 or 911 could be made available for rent if you are interested. I am racing the 911 there the weekend before and could probably leave my rig there waiting for you. In that case you'd have use of the RV as well.

Not sure if you have seen the 911 before but its the white car in the middle of my avatar. '83 SC with wide-body flairs and 964/993 VarioRam engine. Misclassed in PCA into 4S but a lot of fun to drive and should lap ECR in the 1:58.x - 2:01 range.

Let me know ...

RC - I am definitly interested in a rent situation. I don't have your contact info, can you PM me and we can talk. I'd hate to miss last local event of the season. Unless of course I were picking up the car you are getting, love it! I'm not a Porsche snob, the Italians make a darn good car too!

There is a relatively new racing series that has started on the east coast called Ferrari Club Racing Association that in its current form provides a place for ex-Challenge cars to go racing. (www.ferrariclubracing.com)

My first race with them will be in November at Daytona. Then, better yet, they will be one of the feature races during the 60th Anniversary of the 12 hrs of Sebring in March. Our race will be on the Friday before, pictures and bios in the race program, etc. Should be fun!

After Daytona I am going to bring the car back to TX for the winter so I can practice in the new platform, then ship it back east where it will live for the 2012 season. Universal Autosports will keep it and I will arrive and drive for events.

BTW, the original owner of the car is ... wait for it .... Milka Duno. (let the hate begin, lol)

I take it she's seen some use. The car I mean. Don't forget to reset the shoulder strap length, and put the mirrors back on the car. You've done it now Rob.

Hey Coco, If RC's car does not work out I think Gatlin still has a silver 996 CUP he rents out.

If I'm not mistaken, Glen sold his silver '6 Cup.
