Considering my Aiptek is just about to bite it (Cracked housing) I might have to pick one of these up soon. Combined with hard wired power it might make it possible to record the entire 25 hours of Thunderhill this year!

Mark,

Is the hardwire power kit available yet? When I bought the Replay XD1080 directly from Replay, they said the hardwire kit would ship in July. Here it is almost October and it is still not available as best as I can tell.

My camera shipped yesterday. I'm looking at it as an alternative/addition to the ChaseCam and to use as a helmet cam while mountain biking. I did not see the hard-wired power kit as available yet.

Sweet! Planning to buy one for awhile. No shipping cost and no tax, it's a no brainer! Order placed.

Guys, I'll check on the status of the hardwire kit. He did not get them with our first shipment of the cameras.

I will need to have this available to order.

Also is there a mount included that will work with the IO Port camera mount?

Mike,
This mount works perfectly with the IO Port, but you need to drill and tap it for 1/4 20 to take the locking screw.

I've had the XD1080 for a couple of months, so I'm not sure if this mount comes with the retail package.

Replay also sell one that's already machined out for universal tripod mount for the same price.

Hadn't seen that one, but its obviously just what you want.
I've been bugging SS about the remote start/stop and remote mic, but no sign of them yet. It will be interesting to see if Mark at OG gets some news on these. I'll try again too.

In the very hostile environment of the Formula 1600 car, I've tried:
-Hero
-Contour
-Vio POV HD
-Replay

only the replay has worked consistently http://youtu.be/-EgYWUBmKO4

I could not find an optional Lanc to Traqmate or a hard wire kit on their website. Do they make these?
