I think this is the key. While we "pretty much" use just one steering input we are also turning the car with throttle rotation and a little slip angle. Thus why it is a "pretty much" one steering input, we do have to adjust ever so slightly as needed with those variables.

I've never driven TWS, but I think what you wrote is important everywhere. You initially steer the car with the wheel, but the throttle (and brakes) have a large affect. So the steering input is only a part of the equation.

Absolutely. As I tell clients, the front rires change the car's direction. The rear tires steer the car's trajectory.

Agreed.
This particular set of 2 corners at TWS has many people trying to make it 2 corners because of a lack of cornering speed and commitment to throttle, or better stated full throttle early enough. Once you committ and have the proper line it is clearly just one large corner with some really nice cornering speed involved, large attachments required.

Or because they have never walked the track to see just how much of a well-cambered bowl that section is!

SISH !
Those that don't know ........ well they just don't know.
I've paid my dues over the years, I've walked, jogged, and biked that track.
Julie use to bike the track while I jogged it with her after each track day, with permission of course. We learned a lot on those bike ride/jogs.
