I knew that ACR would go faster. Why can't the $400K Toyota go faster with all the electric gizmos?

Holy cow!!!! That's smoking! 6 Seconds faster than the GT2RS and ZR-1.

I'm sure the usual pundits will come in and bash the car for being a Dodge and a Viper. You can talk all you wan't, but you can't argue with that.

Wow - the ACR is pretty adjustable from the factory so I'm sure they dialed it in. Either way, that is very fast. Now time for the GTR to have a N-Ring edition, you know they are going to be in this fight.

Technically speaking, the Lexus is a faster car, just under equipped in the tire department. Bridgestone RE070 are really good street tires, but in no way comparable to the MPSC on the Viper.

All Toyota need to do is put some MPSC on the LFA and it would beat the Viper with some seconds to spare. However, as close as they are, they could conceivably still nab a couple of seconds on that long lap as is. But why leave it to chance.

Wow that video is awesome.

Imagine how fast he'd go on slicks.

That was on Michelin slicks.

I'm curious how long its going to take until some car beats the overall lap record. Officially its a 6:25, unofficially 6:11. Its going to take something like a FXX or Zonda R to do it.

Official record is a 6:48 in a Radical SR8 LM (8/19/2009).
Second place is also a Radical SR8, 6:55 (9/28/2005).
Both were driven by Mike Vergers.
I think both records are fairly safe at the moment.
