Watch out Danica, there is a new girl who will be on the grid at the up and coming NASCAR Nationwide race in Montreal.

She turned Montreal upside down. No one saw her coming. Moved to LA for modelling and comes back to Quebec as a pro racer. Here is to the USA's streets that are still paved in gold!!! I love it!

At least as far as 2011 is concerned, I am pretty sure this race is a one time deal in the NASCAR Nationwide series. She will be racing on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve road racing circuit and she has some road racing experience having raced Formula Mazda cars in the past. But I am sure being a Quebec girl at a race in Quebec also has a certain marketing motivation to it to get more locals out to the track. I hope she does well in the race, but people must also have realistic expectations.

I don't think anybody has anything to worry about on the track, especially the other drivers ... She's just another pretty face used for marketing hype ...
As far a being a driver goes ... well i guess she has a nice smile !
Seen her a few times on track and Danica has nothing to worry about !
I think we were waving a yellow flag for her two years ago when she hit the kill switch and stalled her car in Montreal and she told her crew on the radio that she needed a push ... lol

It is a one race deal. But someone up high on the canadian racing scene totem pole told me today that we're likely to see her in 3 series next year, including indycar.

i bet she could smoke the hell out of 99% of the club drivers on this site. she probably hauls in a car. yet, you step into a pro field like that one, you're going against the very very best.
she'll be slow, back marking the field. but i bet she has some serious skill
