Trailer tires fall into the when, not if, category, so bring good safety equipment, like flares or reflectors, etc. Get way the hell off the road. Know that you can tow a dual axle trailer a ways if you keep the speed down (40 MPH or less according to my tow guy, who started yelling at me on the NY Thruway because I didn't know enough to keep driving to the next exit. We drove - after he was done yelling - 15 miles to the exit and 17 miles back to his garage, at 40 MPH; it comforted me to know he was behind me with full flashers deployed). Beats the hell out of changing a tire beside the road.
Oh, the trailer stories I could tell...

I use an axle jack: Trailer Axle Jack
Throw in some rain and make it a night time proposition, and the worst case scenario is that you HAVE to jack the trailer up with it fully loaded. If your low profile jack is like mine, a loaded trailer surpasses its weight capacity, so a $30 axle jack or $60 trailer aid is a no-brainer investment in safety.

Walmart is the answer
Left Houston going to Tennessee. Had to go through Conroe and decided to take a "back road" through Cut and Shoot , a Texas town a little ways up and back to 59N. Trailer tires had less than 2,000 miles.
KaBooom. Rattle Rattle Blowout. Tried to get Trailer Aid to work. No good. Also the ground too soft for the jack. That was back when it actually rained in Texas.
I finally made it over to WalMart over on 59 by nursing the trailer with its dual axle and only one right side tire. Took until 10:00 pm. I wanted 2 tires but they only had one. They did loan me a big truck floor jack though. So out in the WalMart lot and a 4 way and I paid another helper to give me a hand.
As I drove all night all the way to Nashville I was waiting for another one to go.
No problems. Drove it back the same.
I asked other guys what they carry. Tools tires, etc. Nope. A credit card.
But it will happen and at a bad time.

Oh - and if you buy a used trailer, make sure the spare(s) ACTUALLY fits before you do that long road trip ! When I bought my open trailer it came with a spare. Found out when I went to use the spare that it didn't fit.

+3, or 4 or 5 or whatever, for Trailer-Aid.
Side of an interstate on the way to Mosport.Worked like a charm.
Might have been the easiest flat I ever had to take care of.
BTW also check the spare once and a while for inflation pressure.
