Thanks everyone!
Very nice, bit harder to drive than the TT
Track grip changed and the tyres get too hot with not much water on the track, so less grip!
Only driven a cup car at Sebring and did a 2.05.6, which is a lap record with the ALMS GTC car. My first time there too
Release clutch, still use engine braking in the wet.
Thanks dude, it was a good win!
Very enjoyable -- "edge of the seat" from the first gear change. The camera made it look like you had to use the force to know where to find the track. It looked like you were feeling out understeer sometimes more than others -- was there a reason for the change in grip here and there from lap to lap? (like the tires getting cold or just standing water or maybe just too quick in)
I'm curious to know your times at Laguna and Sears in whatever cars you've had at those tracks, especially if you've driven Laguna since they paved the inside of the exit berm (8b) at the bottom.
Thinking about keeping a Cup car stable in the wet, do you make multiple downshifts with the clutch pedal down or do you release the clutch between shifts?
