Default Nürburgring 24h race

I'm heading to Nürburgring, as a spectator. I'm really looking forward. There is also Porsche Carrera World Cup race on Nordschleife, 6 laps.

Speedhuters have good preview here: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011...r-preview.aspx

Some people have been asking about ways of watching the race (and the Porsche dust up).

Wige Media are providing two feeds to the internet and various TV stations. Audi is running live coverage as well, but i suspect most will be the same as the Wige coverage.

A lot of the links/hook-ups are coming together on an as needed and at the last moment basis. I have been checking stuff out for the last two days and it's been a shambles, but it looks as if it will be alright on the night (a bit like racing, really)

I will post links as they become available and broadcast schedules - so this post will be updated unless the powers that be can think of a better way.

This year, somewhat confusingly, I have reason to support Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, BMW, Lamborghini & Audi for outright honours

BTW, in this context neither Mickey Mouse nor Donald Duck are US entrants

For the Sport1 livestream you'll need a German IP address

Several ways of doing this:

to be honest, I haven't looked beyond VLN, yet. BUT, each year, it seems to get better.

I will figure out what is happening, but on a JIT basis.
