Spec Box SOLD!!!!!!

Former Vendor
There are lots of rinky dink spec boxsters out there that were weekend build projects, donors with bolt in cages, and minimal development. yoru build looks outstanding and there is a market for a quality build. i just think you're in that doldrum period a bit. early spring guys are chomping at the bit, but right now everyone is starting to slide into the tail end of the season.
ive referred two guys your way, they might be interested.
regards,

Tim, you havent over priced your car, perhaps its even a good bit too cheap.

Andy, Im with you 100%. I really wish someone close by would buy it and keep it running on the east coast. That being said I just want someone to buy it period.
Eric I also agree with you and the others that there is a class of car within the SPBs that should be selling in the upper 30K to low 40K. As much as I feel my car falls in that class I'm pricing it knowing that it needs to see the paint doctor. Figuring the cost of that in I feel Im right there. The only reason I haven't had it painted already is #1 I might race it again before selling it and dont want to mess up a new paint job and #2 someone else may want it a different color. That being the case whoever buys it now would be getting a very good deal especially if they dont care to have it painted. Personally, its a race car and it works great as one. Im not all that concerned about the paint.
I'm just blaming the fact that it hasn't sold yet on Obama and the rest of the tools ruining this country!
