***Registration is open***
The Hudson-Champlain Region will be hosting a Novice Driver Education event at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, August 6th. This is an event for beginner and novice drivers wishing to get Lime Rock track experience. Each of the three run groups, Green (all drivers instructed), Yellow (a mix of instructed and solo drivers) and Red (all instructors), are scheduled for 4 (four) 20-minute on-track sessions staggered throughout the day. Classroom sessions to review theory and provide extra instruction will also be part of the schedule. This event, with a limited number of drivers and conveniently scheduled on a Saturday, is a great opportunity for novice drivers who want to experience a DE.
The event is expected to sell out quickly, therefore only drivers that pay when registering will be confirmed into the event. A wait list will be established when all of the slots are filled. To be placed on the wait list, you must have paid during registration.
SA 2000 and M 2000 helmets have expired, so you must have a SA 2005 or M 2005 or later helmet for this event.
The noise limit for this event is 88db and has been established by LRP management. LRP checks noise levels at various times and locations around the track and if you exceed the limit you will be Black Flagged. If you are Black Flagged twice for noise, you will not be allowed back on the track.
This year we will be using ClubRegistration.net for all event registrations. For additional information, contact Jim Morgan, Registrar, at registrar@hcp-pca.com.
