This is awful news. Aside from being a helluva driver, Carlos was a fantastic person. Just absolutely one of the nicest guys in the paddock around here. It was great to have been able to hang out with him over the years and he'll be terribly missed. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Tragic news, so sorry to hear this.
I've been down this road, as a widower with young kids.
It can be harder on the ones left behind.

Carlos' girls will be surrounded by racers. We will tell them stories about their father and show them what a wonderful man he was.

wow. Just wow. Of course I remember his threads on Rennlist, and I enjoyed them thoroughly. Tragic to leave a wife and twins... Rennlist is more a family than a community. Our prayers are with his family.
