New courses and new faculty members at RacerUniversity.com

We have a number of interesting new courses up, including several dealing with racecraft.

Sometimes the best way to learn is by example. So we asked our faculty to provide descriptions of their most memorable passes. They came back with great stories, and a great way to learn strategy at the same time. You’ll hear from Formula 1 driver Tommy Byrne, Peter Argetsinger, Rennlist regulars Peter Krause, Seth Thomas, Larry Herman, Vaughan Scott and Mark Dalen

Since it’s been such a wet spring, with many race weekends run in the rain, Pete Argetsinger has contributed his Basic Rain set-up. We think you’ll find it very helpful, and Pete’s reasons for not passing up running in the wet very enlightening. Pete’s coaching has been mentioned, and praised, in a number of threads recently. Like many of our pro coaches, Pete has decades of experience coaching at the top schools, as well as being a championship winning and paid professional driver himself.

We’d like to welcome fellow Rennlister Seth Thomas to the faculty. Seth’s been racing in major series for a number of years now. As you know, Seth has the ability to cut to the heart of the matter of driving questions with insightful, original insights based on his years of experience racing in major series and professional coaching. You can check out all the professional coaches and technical experts here (http://raceruniversity.com/faculty.html)

Larry Hermann has provided us with an X-rated article about all the track skills you can learn in a parking lot… X as in Auto-X ;-) .

Vaughan Scott and Mark Dalen have a new course on basic passing defense.

E. Paul Dickinson has new articles on the Ten Most Common High-Performance Driving Errors and on Racer Psychology & Anticipation. E. Paul has also shared with us an extensive Dictionary/Glossary of Racing and Technical Terms.

As always, much of the content on RacerU is free for registering. Full membership, and the advanced content and services it gets you, has a fee -- Three gallons of race gas, or the cash equivalent.
