FS: "new" E-stock Euro SC
Didn't think i would 2 days ago... Thinking of making a move – this time serious about it… Any leads on a very cheap gen 1 GTC3 cup car appreciated.
E-Stock Euro SC for sale. Car is “new” from 2010/11 (see below). Winningest E car in PCA so far in 2011. Ran 59.2 at LRP and 2:10.8 at WG this year, as well as 1:37.7 at Road Atlanta. This car’s past is full of track records everywhere. It has been raced hard but pampered in every possible way with over $100,000 in receipts to show for in the last 5 years….
Drivetrain:
• 9.8:1 Euro SC motor built by Dan Jacobs in Jan 2011
• 915 LSD transmission rebuilt by Dan Jacobs in Jan 2011
• Exhaust rebuilt by Dan Jacobs in Jan 2011
• New clutch installed in March 2011
Suspension:
• SRP motor and tranny mounts
• Sander hollow t-bars (23/34) (new from 2010)
• Elephant racing monoballs and polybronze bushings (new from 2010)
• SRP adjustable sway bars (new from 2011 in the rear)
• Sway away spring plates (new from 2011)
• Custom Bilsteins (revalved in 2011)
• Strut brace
Wheels/Tires:
• Set of 3-piece BBS 8/9X15
• 2 sets of low HCs R6s
Body:
• Windows out paint job (inside and outside) done by Julio Grosso Restorations in January 2011
• Ruf yellowbird type front bumper
• Iroc type rear bumper
• Iroc type rear wing
• Aero mirrors
• New windshield
• High density discharge headlights (4x more powerful than xenon) fitted inside H4 cans
• Plenty of properly installed ballast
Safety:
• 17 gallon fuel cel
• Custom welded cage
• 3 point integrated fire suppression system (in/out triggers)
• Kill-switch
• New Sabelt harness driver side
• Kirkey deluxe seats
• Window net
• 4 pane race mirror
Other:
• AIM MXL Pista data system with many sensors including throttle position, rpm, speed, steering angle, brake pressure, and more...
• Radio wiring harness
If it weren’t for the voluntary engine/tranny rebuild and all the new bits, I would offer it at $23-28k like most other decent D or E stock 911s out there with 5 to 6 year old drive trains.... But this car is virtually new and is a winner which won’t need anything major for a while. Yes it was hit in Atlanta earlier this year, but was evidently fixed real well for LRP and WG - car will survive the pickiest inspection. Asking $37,500... sorry $35,000 - flexible for reasonable offers.
Thanks for looking or passing the word around (and sorry for the rotation on the pics...)

As hard as this is to believe...
As a long time competitor in E, I am sorry to see you leave.
Chasing you, Doug, Mark, and a few others, and wondering how the hell you do it, has made us all better. Even though the rules basically haven't changed over the years, the lap records keep getting lower and lower. And our personal bests follow suit.
Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you kicking some high horsepower butt.
Good luck with the sale. (Though I'm hoping the car doesn't sell til after TRAC )

Please sell this to someone on the West Coast. But after watching your videos, not sure the next owner will be breaking track records as frequently as you did. Good luck with the sale and the search for a new car. If you move up to GT at least I can watch you on the track instead of only briefly seeing you pass me by while rolling to the pointy end of the grid.

Wow! That's good news. Good to see you move into a faster class.
As the likely buyer of your car would do, go for a proven Cup Car that has some "pedigree" and track records on its belt, so you know it was well taken care of, and has already a great setup.
The conditions on Cup Cars vary A LOT, so do some diligence.
I'm not sure if Pena's old car (996 CUp) is still available? That would be my choice.
