Wow, I just checked in. So hoping that the report of Rick being OK is true, I'm txting him now.
Longhi, Hamblin, Murry; super strong lineup, all great guys, too.
Hope this is just a blip, they're showing so much promise!

Very relieved to hear from Rick that he's fine; despite three rolls and a major side impact. Says it the best highlights reel ever!

Well, it`s not all great news. Terrific news that Rick is fine. Horrible news that the first time a Chixster has been on pole, and perhaps had a reasonable chance at a podium, it gets destroyed in a bad crash.
Let`s hope Juan`s buddies finish better.

Yikes. Glad to hear he came out OK. A tribute to the roll cage.

Glad to hear that he's OK - He's gonna be sore in the morning, though.

Who can forget at Mid Ohio a few years back when Joey Hand was bumped off track and ran into a earth berm going airborne for 7 or 8 flips. He too walked away. I just don't understand how race control allows an obvious unsafe condition to remain. Team owners need to make their collective voices heard......

Although pretty horrendous, I don't think the roll cage had much to do with that, it doesn't look like he hits the top at all. All four corners, though...I think I'll call Rick's pharmacy for him, that's gotta hurt!

Hey Guys, thanks for the concern... I'm totally unscratched..!! Amazing experience and I can't say enough about the value of a properly built race car with all the right saftey equipment.

Take a look at the in-car from the link below... seems to me like the track should fill a few of the holes off the right side of that down hill...what starts as a simple 2 wheel off, nice and straight with no drama ends up as the highlight of the week..!!

Looking at video from a car 2 behind, the rear wheels were thrown 2+ feet in the air from the hole in the groundwhile going straight down the hill...
