You gotta include Prepared E to get to 21. Still great field.

Paulo, as it looks right now you are guaranteed a podium finish. Lets celebrate early.

Re: SPBs. Why was there only 1 at Rd Atl and 18 at the Glen. Are there just not very many SPBs in the southeast?

I would have made it 22 E cars if I hadn't played valve bender last month. Will still be there so I look forward to watching at least.

Also, can deliver to the track if anyone needs anything last minute from OG Racing.

Stock E and Prepared E are the same class. It's all E. There are not separate podiums for stock and prepared classes. Haven't you raced with PCA before, Randy?

Race grups should be posted in the next day or two on CR.net.

Very similar to last year's split.

We are curious about why there is such a steep drop off of registration numbers from sprint to enduro. About a quarter of the sprint entrants aren't racing in the enduro. I doubt that it has to do with travel, since we aren't racing on Monday but that's a holiday and can be used for travel.
Those of you who are only registered in the sprint races, please tell us why.

And still much fewer will actually race on Sunday despite signing up and paying. Sure mechanicals and crashes over the course of the weekend will shrink the numbers a little, but it seems like it's many more than that these days.

For some reason, Enduros are falling out of favor...

I know that some guys wait to get through the sprints and then sign up at the track.

Fred:
Yes, I will be there all 3 days. Would love to see the E cars in group with D and the SPBs. Was a great mix at SP and would be fun to watch at WG.

Precisely because Monday is Memorial day... Missing the enduro means that Sunday can be used for travel so people can be home with (non-racer) friends and family on Monday.

Run groups are posted. It looks pretty good!

D, E, and F are together. SPB is with the army of SP1,2,3 cars.

Brian:
Originally we stopped doing the enduros because of the travel time back to Denver and the 0500 Monday morning wake-up call. At Roebling last December, the 3rd sprint race was Sunday morning, and we were on the plane home by 1300 or so.
Engine time is a consideration. I'd rather spend those 90 minutes in 2-3 sprint races, which will let us do perhaps another event per year.
Some will disagree, but I feel that almost all finish where they should in a sprint race. A larger degree of nonsense most likely will arise in a longer race, especially where there is a timed 5 minute stop (although I agree with the principle, for safety's sake).
