How many of you voting for the Glen have actually driven Road America?

I would put the Glen 4th after Tremblant and Mosport

Agree. If you could throw Calabogie in there it would be even better. 20 turns of sweetly paved Canadian countryside is pretty damn nice.

Looks good.

Only I'd skip Lime Rock and do Mid-Ohio

No one voted for NJMP Thunderbolt? Is't no good?

I could leave earlier and do Mid Ohio with Audi 1/2/3 July instead of the 14th.
Anybody run with Audi before?

Possible:
Mid Ohio July 1-3 Audi?
NJMP July 5+6 with David Murry Lots of track time, but track maybe not worth it?
Calabogie July 7-9 with PCA
Mt Tremblant July 11-13 with PCA
Lime rock? July 14 with PCA? Maybe not worth it?
Mosport July 15-17 with PCA
Watkins Glen July 18+19 with Audi.

Any issues expected driving into Canada and back into US?

It is recommended that you get a "yellow card" from your insurance carrier. This is a simple hand written card proving you are insured for your tow vehicle (or passenger car if applicable). It is free and I got one last summer.

I just went to Mosport and back this week and forgot to get another yellow card (different tow vehicle now). I think it is only important if you get stopped by the police. It is NOT presented at the border.

You will of course need your passport.
When I went into Canada it was a simple passport check. On the way back into the US, the customs agent asked me to open my trailer and show him my car through the small side door only. It was painless and polite.

Radar detectors are illegal in Canada. The sign entering Canada stated that you could not bring one into the country. One of my buddies had his confiscated last year en route to Calabogie. You will not get it back!

Give yourself some time in between events or you'll be exhausted.

Thanks!
I had a rare moment of clarity and remembered how exhausted I was after Mancation I.

I think we have it narrowed down to just 4 events for some self and car preservation:

Calabogie July 7-9 with PCA.Probably just the 9th and open lapping day the 10th. I will have to see when Izzone can leave.
Mt Tremblant July 11-13 with PCA
14th. Change brake pads, maybe oil, bleed brakes and put more tires on rear wheels. Need good tire shop. Fronts should last the entire trip.
Mosport July 15-17 with PCA
Watkins Glen July 18+19 with Audi.

Sorry for the 1000 questions eh..

Any sound restrictions we should know about?
I have Sharky final exhaust, Izzone has track exhaust.

Peter, I will be at the Calabogie and LCMT PCA events. If you have any Qs, feel free to pm me. Bob Rouleau often shows up at those 2 events as well. If you're lucky, he'll show you the local lines!

Pneues Touchette (sp?) is usually at our LCMT event with their full service tire shop truck. You can order the tires ahead of time and they can mount em and spin em at the track.

LCMT and Calabogie have dB limits. I don't know what they are but am fairly certain a "track exhaust" won't cut it. At Calabogie they do a sound check on each car as part of tech inspection.

I don't think WGI has any restrictions. I'm not sure if Mosport has limits but I think they do.
