Tire shaving shop?

Tire shaving shop?
Anyone know of a shop that I can send a set of RA1's to in order to be shaved perferrably close to Oklahoma to save on shipping? I can't find a local shop to send them.

Bryan, you might call PST (the shop on site at MSR) to see if they can do it or whether they know someone local who can. Also, MER (they build full race Miatas) is on Hwy 377 next to MSR. They use a lot of RA1's, perhaps they have their own shave machine.

Hayes Tire Co. in Dallas. $25/ea. Bring them mounted on rims.

There is another shop in Haltom City (I think) that is a bit closer to MSR and ECR. Not sure but I can see if I can dig up the name. They were $5-10 higher than Hayes iirc. Also may take a little longer. Dropped mine off at Hayes and picked them up 24 hours later.
