I think the track is wet. Though it does not make sense how the end appears dry. Stop action at 22 and 23 secs. Why else would the lights reflect and glisten off the track? Engine blows at 24 sec mark.

Man that thing really pulls hard when it hooked up! I think the engine blew, you can see fluid coming down in front of the front tires.

its not wet, at night the heavy grooved areas shine.

my old 89 camaro was a low 10 sec car but it blew before i could take it any further. I hope one day I will have space for another big block project car. a friend of mine has 76 camaro doing low 8 sec and price to build it up was not even that big.
as of cranky ******* - this one is wankier. but it only matters to those who knows what it takes to build and do a proper 7 sec run in a 1000+hp car.

these days with turbos and better parts for the engine and suspension building a 7 second street car is easier than back in the day. It also depends on how you define street car.
