We are one of the least expensive hourly rates of any Porsche shop I have seen in my travels at 90 per hour.

I only work on cars part-time, but I charge $100 per hour. I also frequently allow the owner to work with me. Whether that saves them money or costs them more depends on their ability.

The dealer in Manhattan charges $220/hr last time I checked (prolly more now). My indy is around $100/hr. But I do most of the work myself anyway.

My take on it is very simple........

There is a very fine line between what you charge and what people are willing to pay for your services.......

Once you have established that and back it with your reputation, you will have repeat customers who will always seem to "complaint" about what you charge them, but will always to return for the services you provide.......

and that is valid for a porsche mechanic, a porsche owner or any small business provider...........

A couple of years ago I paid $120/hr at the dealer
Same dealer was $110/hr on my Audi A6
Chevy dealer was $85/hr on the Tahoe...

In this economy I can get consessions from a lot of vendors/subcontractors with the exception of my attorney, my accountant and my Porsche wrench
