Default National Speed Sport News shutting down

For a long time it was my go-to resource for racing news. Very sad to see it's being shuttered. I met Chris Economaki twice, great guy.

They might not have gone under if the public actually knew they were out there. My first time hearing about them.

Well, it's been printed since 1943 . . . but yes, they didn't promote themselves well, other than have Chris Economaki being a Indy 500 commentator for many years.

Isn't it just the print version going away?

yeah, my understanding is the print version is gone but the website is still going forward.

I've only seen one print issue of NSSN anyway (and that was years ago), no big loss. to be honest I won't be surprised if Autosport, Racer, etc go that way too.
