Hello, Dan, Fred, etc? I guess everyone is busy getting back to the rat race.
Me too, I'll try to make an enduro video, best race I have had in a long time! I had a very frustrating event up till enduro qualifying but ended the weekend on a high note, passing in the last turn 5 minutes before checker to hold on for 2nd place overall.

I feel bad for Dan and the guys in stock class running in our Enduro, it was always bad timing when I had to pass them, never on the straight... but everyone cooperated. It was odd on our Enduro restart when the 2nd place car tried to pass me twice in the two corners before the green flag, maybe there was some misunderstanding but I don't think that's legal and I hope I did not block too badly...

I agree with Fred, the officials did an amazing job of trying to get us quality track time.

Thanks to Peach State PCA and the national staff for another awesome event!

That looks like a lot of wing in some of those cup cars.

Yah, definitely 2 schools of thought visible there: trim the wing for the 12-1, 5-6, and 7-10 straights, or trim the wing for the fast corners like 11, 12, 1, the esses, 5, and 6.

I need more wing. The cup S front end and dive planes are giving way more front than rear grip, and I don't even have the splitter pulled out more than 3/4" or so.

Hi Mike,

It was certainly 'interesting' being the lowest class car along with all the cups. It was very hard to get a rythm or a consistent lap as I was constantly being passed in bad places as you say.

I'd like to know the difference the guys are getting in the corners because a lot of wing can cost you BIG on the straights.

IMHO:
Less wing + w i d e tires + Gurney Flap = best set-up

I'd agree. By the way, a certain someone whom you and I know did a 33.999 last weekend. He is in some of those pictures.

I have yet to experience slowing down with too much wing. More grip has always made me faster, especially in braking from near top speed.
