A guy in front of me went two wheels slightly off and launched some of TWS turn 15 that got me. The part that impacted the windshield was 4 inches long. Very solid thunk. It was tough to see, but I finished the race while even laying down my fastest lap.

The windshield was spalling off thousands of tiny glass shards. That was not a worry with a full face shield helmet. If I didn't have one already, that would be next on my to-buy list.

Whew. I'm glad the big one I caught with the helmet last weekend wasn't that big. Cracked my helmet but I think that would have knocked me into next week.

Good that you had full face with a visor. I bet you might have beem black flaged at some other race venues.

Put a windshield tear off on new windshield. They help at times

Holy crapple... that would have scared the .... out of me. Really glad I got all the glass out of my car.

Cool that you got to finish the race but as others have said, suprised they did not pull you off. I don't think any type of plastic film would have helped you there
