Read that, but they still have lap times down on the qualifying board, and the fastest lap time there is still slow. If they chose to use new tires after the qualifying session, it would impact their starting position only if they had qualified ahead of another car in class. They didn't, so without looking at the pit notes, it looks like damage (embarrassment) control.

The ABC coverage is a highlight show, and it's tomorrow, so you get to watch the live coverage on your PC today and then watch the highlights in your living room tomorrow... :-/

ESPN3 streaming quality is leaving a lot to be desired right now for me. On the video player's quality meter, I have 1 of 5 blocks - and the resolution is worse than standard definition TV.
Since I got qualifying last night in HD-ish quality, I'm guessing this is just because they're overloaded. That is, unless my Internet service is slower at noon on a Saturday that Friday night....

I can't help but point out that Speed HD TV never degraded quality or required restarting equipment.

Picture quality, sound quality, ALMS announcers, limited commercials, all good! ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
Having to watch the race in my office instead of on the 42" JVC in the family room, not so good.
