Default Question for Rothsport QR steering hub users

Was the installation as easy at it looks? Approximately how long did it take you? Any issues using a Sparco wheel?

Thanks in advance....

I have the QR, with a momo hub.

Fit and finish is great and easy to install.

Basically the same unit as PMNA but without the high cost.

FYI I have it on a OMP wheel, install took less than 15 minutes.

Dave:
When you install it, orient it so it looks like a frown.

Will do, thanks. Any issues with mounting to a BMW steering column?

As long as you have a MOMO or Sparco hub adapter, you should be fine.

I like mine smiling - Although there is no real definite way from PCNA nor Rothsport that I have heard either way is correct or wrong.

And it's so easy even a caveman can do it, so you should be ok VR.

+1 love mine. Was told by Rothsport to install as a frown.

mine is installed like a frown... and every cup I have seen is the same.

Best QR on the market (other than PMNA QR $$)

My friends all have Lifeline's and they are a PITA to line up.

My only complaint is that there is some tiny play when you attach the steering wheel.. and the PMNA does not have any play... but I'll take the play for the price difference.

Just picked up a new rothsport and I am very happy. There is zero play. It seems to be extremely well made. Install could not be more easy.

I have a lifeline and a momo and both have significant play. I only hope that this one doesn't develop movement over time, but for now it is tighter than a steel drum.

Gamroth installed mine as a frown. Direct from the source FWIW.
