TV contract for ALMS
Since my plans to attend are not going to happen, I was looking at the schedule of TV telecast for the race. Surprise.......... Hope this provides a heads up.
ALMS has entered into a new agreement with ESPN2, ABC and ESPN3.com. Supposedly the entire race is going to aired on ESPN3.com, which would require a LAN hook up to your TV from your computer modem.
So far the telecast schedule for ESPN3 does not show it covering the entire race. With March Madness, golf and who knows what else, I would expect ABC to devote minimal coverage. One can only wonder if they will utilize the speed crew on ABC or call in Derek " I am so wonderful, brilliant and talented" Daley, so we can turn the sound off.

ESPN3 is an "on demand" type service available online. They can show several things simultaneously, and, in my case, since I have XBox Live, I can watch it AFTER I attend the race.

I have a Sony Plastaion I use for my Blu Ray player in my home theater room. I've never really looked at using it for the internet.....is this possible on a Sony Playstaion 3 to get the live broadcast of the ALMS Sebring race?
